San Andreas has more cheats than any other game in the series, and it is the only one where a single code — HESOYAM — hands you health, armour, $250,000 and a repaired car all at once. There are 92 listed below across 7 categories.
It is also the only game here with two sets of PC codes. The 2004 original used short scrambled codes like HESOYAM and LXGIWYL; the Definitive Edition replaced them with phrases like INEEDSOMEHELP and THUGSARMOURY. Use the Classic / Definitive toggle in the index to switch between them.
On PC you type the code during normal gameplay — no console, no pause menu. On PlayStation and Xbox you press a button sequence during gameplay, quickly and in exact order, using the D-pad rather than the stick. Four cheats can never be turned off once entered, so save on a spare slot first.

Why do some San Andreas cheats have two different codes?
The original 2004 release used short scrambled codes like HESOYAM and LXGIWYL. The 2021 Definitive Edition replaced them with longer phrase codes such as INEEDSOMEHELP and THUGSARMOURY. Most cheats have both, and this page lists each form separately so you can switch between them.
